Park fun with my babies

The weather here is getting better and better everyday. I love spring weather, It is perfect park weather. WE venture off to the park a fair bit, the kids love being outside. I love being outside, I love getting the sunshine onto my face, i love getting them out of the house so they can just run around and be free. My Luther boy that's what he loves to do, just run free!!! Crazy lil kid. Jj would just sit on the swing all day if i let her and Luther would kick the ball around until the sun goes down. Aaliyah well she just has to go on everything and play with everything, she's a busy lil bee.

And once again here is my little super hero. She has gone from Spiderman to Super man and i love that she has such a fun, playful imagination. I swore that i would be one of those parents that would NEVER let there kids wear dress ups out in public BUT who cares!!!! Not me. Just seeing the joy it brings her to wear these outfits all the time is priceless. They are only young once, she will grow out of it soon and then she will be to cool or to embarrassed to wear things like that. That will be a sad day for me but in the meantime go hard my little super hero girl!! Oh by the way i tried to buy her the girl super hero outfits, no not interested she wants the boy ones. That's my Jj xx

My Mummy's birthday

Well it was mummas birthday in June and she invited all of us to go to the Sunshine coast with her for 2 nights. Scotty couldn't come with us he had to work so i packed up the kids and off we went. It was such a beautiful weekend and we were so lucky that mum asked us to come up and spend it with her and Wal.

We stayed in these cute little cabins, perfect for our little families. The kids loved it. We started off with breakfast by the beach, there just happened to be a skate park right on the beach which was fantastic, so we set up camp there for breaky and the kids watched everyone do there thing on the ramps. We played in the park, went down to the beach and played in the sand.

We had morning walks down to the beach. Swims in the pool. Playing card games. We even got to watch Spiderman AGAIN. Riding scooters and bikes around the tourist park. Played footy and kicked the ball around. We enjoyed lots of yummy BBQ's that Wal cooked for us everyday. We even got Kuia a cake and we sang happy birthday to her and the kids took turns to blow out the candles, it was so much fun!!

We love having weekends away with Kuia and Wal, it is always a different kind of adventure. We love you Mumma, thanks for being the BESTEST mummy and Kuia in the world!!!

Aaliyah's first School Athletics carnival

Oh my Gosh is all i can say ..... How cute!!! It was the most anticipated day of the school year. Aaliyah had been talking about it for months. She had been practising everywhere she went. Running up the hall way, running to the school gate, running to her classroom, racing every kid that she could. It was full on BUT the big day arrived and i was so excited for her.

It started with the March past and how cute was she, big swinging arms, big marching legs and with the most serious look on her face looking straight ahead. Too Friggin cute!!! After the march past we ventured off to the top oval where the littler kids participated in sports like sack races, long jump, vortex throwing etc. Then morning tea time and then it was on .......... The 60 metre race we had all been waiting for. She was so excited and could not stop smiling while she was lining up at the start line.

Well she ran her race like a little champion, mummy was getting a little bit loud, but hey i just wanted to make sure she heard me. Hehe!!!! We were  cheering her on and she did not stop smiling the whole way. She got 3rd and i was so very proud of her. Her best friend also got 3rd so they thought they were the coolest kids in town, which they are of course. She loved it so much that she has now started to do Little Athletics which she LOVES. She looks forward to every Wed night now and counts down the days each week.

My Jj's Birthday

How could i not blog about my Jodeci's 4th birthday. She decided that she wanted a DORA birthday party so Dora it was. We had a Dora pinata, we had dora cups, plates, balloons, decorations, cupcakes, lolly bags, wrapping paper and more. If it had dora on it then we got it. You should of seen her little face when she walked out into our outdoor area, it was priceless. She said 'WOW mum we are in Dora land', that right there makes all the effort we put in all worth while. Anything to make my baby girl HAPPY!!! And a big thank you to Aunty Mo who helped me with all the decorating, she is such a good Aunty. We invited all her cuzzies to her party. She had the best day and as you can see she was dressed as spiderman all day. (her new obsession is Super heros, any kind will do) She is such a funny little thing.

It was a great day and all the kids had a load of fun, especially the birthday girl.

All she wanted for her birthday was an Atom figurine and a Noisy boy one from the movie Real Steel. So that's what she got and she was super excited when she opened them. She got even more excited when she opened the present from Kuia and it was the Spiderman movies .... yay thanks Kuia. We have watched those movies at least 50 times each.

I can't believe she is 4 and that she will be off to Prep next year ........ Boohoo my Spiderman  is growing up way to fast for my liking!!!

WOW ... it has been a while

WOW i haven't made an entry since my birthday and that was 3 months ago. How time flys!!!

What a busy few months we have had. We have been up to Bundy to celebrate dads 60th

While we were up there we went and stayed on the farm with Kuia and Wal. The kids always love it out there.

We even got to stay with Aunty Kia and the kids. Its always good to catch up with them. Her kids are growing up so fast and they are all taller than their Aunty Jazzy. How did that happen!!!

We love going to Bundy to catch up with everybody. We have decided to go up for Christmas this year which we are all very excited about. I think it has been about 5 or 6 years since i have had Christmas with my big sissy and family .......... Super Excited!!!

My Birthday

I was lucky enough to celebrate Mother's Day and my birthday all on the same day. So all i wanted to do was spend the day with my hubby and kids.

So i made everyone get up nice and early so we could all do the 4km Mothers Day Fun walk/run around Southbank. It was a new experience, let's just say that. Now i am used to doing fun runs but not with the family. We loaded up the pram with supplies and of we went. The start was a little bit iffy but once we got our groove on there was no stopping us. It was a lovely way to spend the morning with Aunty Nelly and her kids. The whole way the kids were pram swapping, having piggy back rides, eating, drinking running, walking, whinging and laughing. I thoroughly enjoyed it. After we crossed the finish line waving our hands in the air we decided to find a nice shady spot and have our picnic breakky that i had packed for us. We had a great morning!!!

Then we came home to open up my presents. I got so spoilt this year, maybe it was the fact that i had 2 days in one and it just felt like more presents. I got Everything that i wished for and more. I just love getting all the kids presents that they make at school for me. I got a new notepad and pen from Aaliyah, A Cupcake making book from Jj (so i can make her cupcakes for her birthday i was told) and Luther made me a herb cup and painted me a love heart, So precious!!! After present opening we all went back to bed for nana naps ....... The best thing ever!!!! And i was lucky enough that all the kids went for one as well. And to top the day off we went out t Dinner with all my sisters and kids, it was AWESOME.

After dinner we all made our way home to have a birthday cake and sing Happy birthday, now i only do that for the kids cause they love it. Hehe!! Now Uncle Luke (mo's partner) is lucky enough to have his birthday on the same day so i let him share my birthday glory and gave him one of my cakes candle to blow out. It was so great to have everyone here for my birthday and Mothers day. We even made everyone put on the good old Party hats!!!

I love being a Mum. It is definately THE best job in the world and i am ever so Grateful to be able to stay home with my babies and watch them grow. Thank you to my babies and husband for making my day SUPER special this year. I love you ALL with my entire heart xx

My Mothers Day lunch at kindy with my son

My babies Kindy always puts on a good day to help celebrate special occasions. So with Mothers Day coming up i was looking forward to this one. They had an awesome set up of different stations for us to play at. They had hairdressing, cup cake decorating, a kissing booth, a finger nail painting table and of course some yummy (not so low fat) food. Loads of cake pops and chocolate and fruit and sandwiches. It was really great. I love Luther's kindy and we are so lucky to have such great staff that love our babies!!! It was great just to spend some time with him in his little environment and see just how crazy my kid really is.

The highlight of the day would definitely have to be getting my nails painted by my SON. He was so into it, concentrating hard ans dipping the brush after EVERY stroke, so lets just say i had enough polish to last me a year or so. The funniest thing was that i was going up to the shops straight after and of course they had run out of nail polish remover!!! Yeh of course they did!!! So i got a fair few laughs when handing over money, but i was rocking those nails and holding them up showing them off to the world. haha!!! Thank you son xx

Our ANZAC adventure

Now Aaliyah had come home asking loads of questions about ANZAC day. She had been learning about it at school and was telling me all about it. They had a service and got to put flowers on the memorial site and even got to see a soldier on stage. How cool!!!!!!

I told her that they have a dawn service in the city and that it was early, when people are still sleeping and it is dark. It just so happened that mum was here around the same time so in talking to Aaliyah and mum about it we decided that we would go. So up early at 3.30am we got, Aaliyah was pumped. She chucked on her big jumper over her pj's and off we went. Aunty Nelly decided that she wanted to tag along as well. We got a good park and an awesome spot to watch the service from. Aaliyah was so patient and was listening to everything that was being said. She was asking me questions and pointing out all the people wearing medals. It was very exciting for her. Then the national anthem came on and she was singing it, she got so excited because it was the same song that they sang at school parade and she had been learning it. It finished with the Last post, what a moving moment that was. We all had a little tear in our eye.

Finally the service finished and so the mission to get out of there began BUT not before Aaliyah said that she wanted to take a program to school the next day for show and tell. the only problem was was that the programs were all the way down the bottom of the service ......... Really Aaliyah!!!! So i said come on then we have to do this, we started to make our way down the bottom, it was going to be a long process because we were going against the crowd when suddenly mum yells out 'what is that under your foot Jasmin??' Haha you wouldn't believe it, it was a program. Whoop whoop!!! Not so much of a mission anymore, we turned around and raced off to the car.

One last stop on the way home for my baby, she wanted to get McDonalds for breakfast. We were all tucked back into bed that morning by 7am. It was a great morning and was made even better due to my baby and my mum and sister being with me. WE have decided to do it every year, me and Aaliyah. Maybe next year Jj can come ....... or maybe not!!! She loves her sleep that girl and really does not like getting woken up early. Maybe the year after lol

Back to swimming lessons for Jodeci

My Jj has started back at swimming lessons. Now at the start of this school term i asked all the kids what they would like to do. Aaliyah wanted to play tennis, Jodeci wanted to do swimming and Luther, well he had no say in the matter, we just told him he had to learn how to swim.

Jodeci is my little water baby. She has no fear and just jumps straight into the deep end any chance she can get. We got to her first lesson and just seeing her face light up was priceless. She couldn't wait to jump in that pool. Now she is pretty good for her age (not being biased at all hehe) when she actually listens and does as she is told. Now all of you that know Jj know that she doesn't do well with instruction and has hard ears (doesn't listen) She also has an attention span of about 1 min so the teacher had her work cut out for her. Now this was going to be interesting!!!!! Lucky for me she was a young girl who didn't take any crap from any of the kids so she put Jj in her place right away. Jj surprised me, she was a little angel and did everything her teacher told her to. She has improved so much and it is safe to say that if she ever fell into a pool unsupervised she would be able to swim to the edge and get out.

That was our main aim .......... To keep our babies safe around the water. Look at that smile on her face below. Now that is a face of a kid who just LOVES swimming. She was so happy to be back in the pool!!!!!

CRAZY HAIR KID

Now this kid cracks me up at the best of time but lately we have been having issues with her hair. Have a go at it!!! CRAZY ................. Now this is how it is all day every day, curly, crazy, party at the back kind of styles. She thinks that she is so beautiful and walks around fluffing her hair around off her ears. It is the cuteset thing.
This hair so suits my Jj's personlity ..... Loud, Out there, Crazy, Funny, Random, Silly, Playful and Gorgeous. Now I blame my mum for this hair. Thanks Big Mumma xx xx

The Magic Garden

I recently took the girls to The magic garden!!! It was such a cool little place. It was at our local shopping centre. The concept was a white room ... everything was white and then you go and pay a gold coin donation and get a page of flower stickers and you could go and stick them anywhere you want. The girls loved it. We decided to go on a day that Luther was at kindy (he is just a mission at the moment that kid) so we could actually enjoy it without having to run after him and watch him like a hawk. Aunty Mo and Aunty Rae Rae came with us. We all had so much fun. Jj found a little doggy in a kennel and spent the entire time putting her stickers on him. Funny kid!!!!
