We survived the School Holidays

Well we managed to survive the first lot of school holidays with all the kiddies home. It was jammed packed  with loads of stuff because apparently 'Im boring' so Aaliyah says. What???


We had a trip to the Plaster fun house, minus the little Terror Luther. Aunty Mo came with us an we all had so much fun. Then came a BIG tub of Ben & Jerry's ice cream. Yummo !!!! This is definately a family favourite. We also had lost of trips to the parks.


The Easter Bunny even came to visit us over the holidays and he bought all the kids some yum yum yummy chocolate Easter bunnies to eat. Easter Sunday i took the kids down to Southbank, it was an amazing morning. WE had loads of fun running around in the water and building sand castles. We got home around lunch time just in time to wake daddy up!!!


We had lots of visits from the cuzzies as well. It is always so much fun when these 2 crazy boys come over. We love them so much!! One of Aunty Mo's friends came over with her new little bubba and Jj loved her so much. She would not put her down and just wanted to keep having cuddles all day long. She is so damn cute.


The girls also got to go to Coffee and Movie with nan which they love doing. Lucky little things. My Luther was still getting sent of to Kindy on his days just so we could get some good girly time in. It was lovely!!!


It was a fun filled few weeks but boy was i happy to get them back to school. Lol. It is very exhausting trying to keep 3 little kiddies occupied for a few weeks straight you know!!

  

Luther is 2 .... Boohoo!!!

I can not believe that my baby is 2. Where have those last 2 years gone?? Boohoo ........... So to celebrate we took him away for a night down the Gold Coast with just us. It was so nice to get away for a night, one night is never enough though. We went to this AWESOME kids resort. They had massive water play areas, Kids play rooms, Adventure playground, Arcade games and even there own little nook in the room with a Tv and playstation .... talk about cool!!!

We arrived early so that the kids could play on the water play areas all day and that they did. Man Luther loved them, he was running up the big kids stairs and then down the slide, up the stairs and down the slide. He done that for literally hours. He thought he was such a big boy, well he is now :( He had a fun filled day, he did not stop. He loved the Adventure playground and then we went into the games room and holy he thought he was the Table Tennis champion. He was eye level to the table but that did not stop him. He wouldn't let anyone help him and he kept on hitting those balls, he was pretty good. I think Scott was there for about an hour with him playing, so cute!! (check out pic below) He was even cheering and hi fiveing when he hit the ball. Too funny!!!

After that we went for more swims and ate some yummy lunch. We played all afternoon and then had dinner in the restaurant. After dinner we went back up to the room to have his cake, the second cake for the lucky bugger. He loves it when we sing to him and then let him blow out the candles. We let him do it a few times of course!!!! Then after cake it was back downstairs to watch the Magic Show, he loved it. It was such a huge day and by the time we got back up to our room everyone was ready for bed. It was a great day.

Up early for another swim and play before breakfast, my little Jj is a sleepy head so we left her in the room. It was just me, Luther and Aaliyah. It was a beautiful sunny morning on the GC!!! We had yummy pancakes and chocolate milkshake for breakfast ..... yummo!!!! Oh well the other 2 missed out, sleepy heads. Then we packed up and spent most of the day by the pool before we headed back to Brissy. Luther was asleep in the car before we even left the GC so i think he had a fun time.

My baby is now 2. My Aaliyah is at school. My Jj is off to school next year. Oh no they are growing so fast ............ i just want time to stand still. Before i know it i will be dropping them off to prom .... NOOOOOOO!!! I don't ever want them to leave me, i told them they can live with me and Daddy for EVER!!!!! Aaliyah says ' What about when i get married and have babies?' I said ESPECIALLY when you get married and have babies you will need mummy more then ever. haha that will keep her little brain ticking.

My Big Boy Turns 2

It was my baby's birthday last week and he was lucky enough to get to celebrate it twice. Once with Nan an Pop and then again with all of us.

Nan and pop came over to give him his present and to have cake. Luther loved it when we were all singing to him, he got so excited. Had to keep up the tradition in this house with our Party hats. lol

Aunty Mo's Birthday

It was Aunty Mo's birthday on the 28th of last month and she is lucky that i love here so much and threw her a little birthday party with all special people in her life.

The day started with me and Jodeci taking her to Sushi for lunch, Jj was fascinated by the train with the food on it that kept on going round and round. It was hilarious!!! Now Autny mo had informed me that her and Uncle Luke were coming home for dinner that night - of course you are - and that she loves my Chicken Puffs that i make - of course she does. So being the good, caring, loving sister that i am i decided to get her a cake and make her a pavlova (her fav food ever) and invite Aunty Rae and Aunty Nelly and the kids over for cake. She's lucky i love her. We had a lovely dinner and then an even better cake and Pav, the kids loved it and Aunty Mo loved being around all the whanau for her birthday.

We love you Aunty Mo and thank you for being one of the best Aunties in the world. Love yu bum bum!!! xx

Big Sis came for a visit

Last weekend Kia, Jason and the kids came down for a visit. It was the boys 16th birthday so they got to come to Brissy for a spot of shopping and to attend their first MMA event.

The weekend started off with all of us travelling down to the Gold Coast to Harbourtown so the boys could burn a hole in their wallets, not much of that happened. They got a few things but not much. Then Aunty Nelly and her 2 boys moved in for the weekend so we had a pretty full house, just how i like it!!! Friday night we took the boys to the weigh ins for Scotty's MMA event that he runs. We made them do the mats in the boys dressing rooms and stick the stickers on the cage, they had to work for their tickets lol. They even got to meet a UFC fighter, James TeHuna, pretty exciting!!! The boys were pumped for the event for Saturday night.

Saturday me, Nelly and Kia started the day with an awesome training session, that got the heart pumping. Then we went off to DFO for some more shopping ...... shop shop shop thats all we seemed to do that weekend. It was fun though, good to all be together. Saturday night was the BIG night, off to NITRO we all went. The kids LOVED it and so did Jason, he reckons he will be back for the next one. Haha we'll see!!!! The event was a great success and was a sell out, so proud of my Scotty. He worked his butt off and i'm happy to see it all pay off.

Sunday we started the day with another training session and then dumplings for breakfast.....yummmm!!! I am addicted to these damn things, just quietly. We just chilled on Sunday. Had heaps of fun with all the kids at home. Now it is not very often that all of us 5 sisters get together so we decided to go out for dinner that night. Before that though we all went off to Valley Ink (where Raewyn works) and Kia and i got our 5 sisters tattoo. We were the last 2 to get it, now we are a complete package, haha!! It was so awesome to get to spend that time together getting tattooed and then at dinner. We had yummy Japanese then went across the road for an even yummier dessert. With a quick stop off at Kangaroo point for a look at our beautiful city at night. We had to get home because we left Jason and Uncle Luke at home with all the kids, haha poor things. But they survived, JUST!!!!!

So they had to leave on Monday morning ....booooooooo. I hate it when they leave. Cody went to drop Aaliyah off at school and Kale came with me to drop off Jj and that made their days. They love their cuzzies so much and miss them heaps when they are not here. We had a massive, busy, loud, crazy few days BUT i wouldn't change it for the world. I love having a full house and having all my sisters and nephews and niece all around me, it makes me HAPPY!!! Don't know bout Scotty though lol.
