SUNDAY - I took the kids down to the Gold coast to see my Cousin Gavin and his family. They were up from Sydney for a few days. We took Aunty Mo with us and met Nelly and her family down there. It was such a beautiful day, sun was shining, the kids were happy and we had a great time. We went and met them at their hotel and then all went swimming in the pool, lucky no one else was down there because we pretty much took over that place. It was very cool. My kids just love playing with the cuzzies. The girls would not leave Uncle Gavin alone in the pool, he kept on throwing them up really high which they just loved. Luther was busy tackling all the big boys, he loves playing with the big kids. He then found little Ruby and was in love, so cute. He wouldn't leave her alone. We had a yummy lunch and then had to head back to Brissy to get Aunty Mo off to work. We had an awesome day, it was so cool to catch up with them. We don't get to see them very often. I love my Sydney family and miss them so much xx
WAITANGI day ........ On saturday i packed up the kids and went off to Waitangi Day with Aunty Nelly and Aunty Mo. It was HOT HOT HOT, thank goodness i smothered my babies with sunscreen. They had some pretty awesome Kapahaka groups performing and My girls were right down the front dancing and waving their hands around. (the whitest kids there might i add) They had the yummiest food ..... Oh my god anything from Hangi to dumplings to Kinas to fry bread, yummy donuts, choc german cake, delicious pineapples filled with ice cream and fruit just to name a few. Lucky i was good and only shared some hangi with Mo and didnt eat anything else. They also had some really cool stalls, carvings, hats, weaved thingys and Mats. We had to have a little Sno cone break, my kids were really feeling the heat. We had a good day and an even better sleep when we got home to our beautifully air conned house. Daddy was at home busy in the office, poor Scotty!! I love spending time with my sissy's
